How do I know if my breastfed or formula-fed baby needs a vitamin D supplement?
Many pediatricians recommend that exclusively breastfed babies take a vitamin D supplement from day one in order to ensure they are getting the recommended dose of 400 IU per day. How do I give Vitamin D Drops to my baby, and how often should I give it to them?
Shake the bottle well before each use. Tip the bottle upside down 2-3 times before removing the cap. Place one drop onto the nipple or pacifier, or mix with milk, juice, or food. One drop daily is all your breastfed baby needs to get the recommended daily dose of Organic Vitamin D Drops as determined by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Do not exceed dosage.
Can I drop Vitamin D directly into my baby's mouth?
We don’t recommend dropping the Organic Vitamin D Drops directly into your baby’s mouth. Putting the drop onto a nipple or pacifier makes it easier to ensure they only get 1 drop.
Do Wellements Organic Vitamin D Drops need to be refrigerated?
