How do I know if my newborn needs multivitamin drops & what does it help with?
Many pediatricians recommend breastfed babies take a multivitamin supplement, specifically containing vitamin D, to ensure they are receiving all the vitamins and minerals for healthy growth and development. Exclusively formula-fed babies may be getting these vitamins in minerals from their formula and may not need a multivitamin supplement until they begin eating solids. Either way, it’s best to check with your pediatrician to find out what is best for your baby.
Can I give my baby Organic Vitamin D Drops and Organic Multivitamin Drops together?
No need to use both at the same time! Our Organic Multivitamin Drops contain the recommended daily dose of Vitamin D so we’ve already got you covered.
Are Organic Multivitamin Drops FDA approved?
Our Organic Multivitamin Drops fall under the category of dietary supplements and do not require FDA approval. We are always compliant with every FDA regulation for dietary supplements. Your baby’s safety is our top priority!
How do I give Organic Multivitamin Drops to my baby, and how often should I give it to them?
Shake the bottle well before each use. Fill the provided dispenser to the 1 ml line and either slowly dispense toward your baby’s inner cheek or mix it with food or drink. Be sure to refrigerate your bottle after opening and wash and dry the syringe thoroughly after each use. Organic Multivitamin Drop should only be given once per day.
Do Organic Multivitamin Drops need to be refrigerated?
Yes. Our Organic Multivitamin drops are preservative-free, so they do require refrigeration.
Should I throw away my bottle if I opened it and forgot to put it in the refrigerator?
If your Organic Multivitamin Drops have been left unrefrigerated for more than a couple of hours, or left in high heat, then we highly recommend you toss it. Think of Organic Multivitamin Drops like milk or juice: if you left it out for the same amount of time, would you toss it? If the answer is yes, then the same applies to your Organic Multivitamin Drops.
How long can I keep my bottle of Organic Multivitamin Drops?
Check the date on the bottle to know how long to keep an unopened bottle. An opened bottle should be used or discarded 4 weeks after opening.
